A Question of Faith

I consider myself a woman of great faith, devotion to God and a dedication to my spiritual path are among those things most sacred to me.  What I do comes from God, I deliver His messages in honor and integrity and feel myself to be a conduit of His Divine Light.

Faith is a deeply personal journey and one that should never be taken lightly.  I respect all paths and honor each person's mission to cultivate this most necessary relationship with the Divine.

I work in a largely Christian community and while clients may be interested in seeing me, some feel it is a challenge to their current beliefs.   I don't ever find this to be the case.... having a psychic reading and loving Jesus are in no way at odds! I believe in a faith that allows us to have a direct relationship with God...  prayer, meditation and service are all ways we can be in this direct communion.

I had this same conversation with a client who had contemplated calling me for over a year.  Susan (shared with her permission) came in last month for her 2nd reading! I asked if she would talk about how her experience and concerns had played out.  I found her words helpful and am grateful she allowed me to share it.

Healers working in integrity can bring great clarity and peace of mind.  It is never a substitute for medical or psychiatric care, nor even good common sense.  But in the best of circumstances, ethical psychics can provide insight and direction when your own thoughts, feelings or beliefs are tripping you up.

It is not a question of faith, but in service to your own Truth, to allow your intuition to get a second opinion. (And. my thanks to Clairbook for such a witty tagline!)

My love of a man named Jesus

How can one talk about Jesus without:
A.) sounding like a fanatic or
B.) pushing a religious agenda?

This is what I have been grappling with as my love, yes LOVE, for Jesus comes in stronger and stronger.

So let me clear the air-- I was raised largely without religion, without a concept of dogma and church.  We were raised in a loving home with a family who allowed us to pursue "religion" on our own terms.  This seeming lack was a beautiful gift allowing my relationship to God and my innate curiosity to lead to me to MY path, not one that was prescribed nor one I was chastised for not keeping.

I explored Buddhism, Christianity, and Hinduism with equal zeal.  Picking and choosing the aspects that made the most sense to me.  I was as comfortable in a church as I was playing on the 2 acres of Louisiana swamp we called home-- feeling God in both locations equally!  What I found was in nature, I could connect, feel and ponder without anyone I telling me I was wrong.

After a couple of years in a Baptist school in Baton Rouge and being punished (detention, scolding and calls home to parents) for not believing what I was told to believe, I found "religion" to be a degradation of what I felt in my own heart.  I turned from organized religion and flitted my way into my own brand of spirituality.

So when Jesus came to me in 2005, asking that we have a conversation, I told him I wasn't one of "His" and he should look elsewhere.  At that point in my burgeoning psychic career, I was receiving guidance from Angels, my own Spirit Guides and Teachers I wasn't savvy yet enough to identify who was who.  Yet when Mary Magdalene showed up, bringing Jesus with her, it was my first experience working with Ascended Masters -- beneficent beings who are master teachers dedicated to enlightening humanity.

I told them both in fact to go away... sure that a heathen child such as myself couldn't possibly be who they were looking for.   They both persisted, Mary providing information that she still insists will be a book and Jesus with a loving and gentle presence I have come to rely on.

Last year, my work with Him began to take on more of a mentorship as he began teaching me some of the more estoeric teachings of the Essene tradition.  I can recall past lives I worked with him closely and find his guidance to be of the utmost benefit in my spiritual path.  Going through grief of my own, I relied heavily on him... to the point of near co-dependence!  Ha!  In calling to him to soothe my grief, and protect my heart, I lost my own inner strength... I became dependent and needy.

I again asked him to step back, which he did with great respect, allowing me to return in my own time.  The year since has been one of warrior like insights and healing work-- powerful, majestic and sword yielding as I overcame the grief of losing my Gram & my child within a month.

As a gentle wind, he appeared this spring, asking if our work could resume.  He expressed his pride in my reclamation of my inner strength and suggested that he may simply augment rather than replace it.  Wow-- this I was not prepared for!  What Divine Love, patience, and grace he allowed me to find on my own as he gently allowed my journey to return to him.

It was then that I would hear myself exclaiming to clients: "Yes, but do you really know the real Jesus?!?" How could I temper my overjoyed experience with him without the gush of dogma rushing in?  It is still a question I try and balance but I know him to be kind, generous, ever loving and so very wise.

Here's a bit of what he's taught me:

- He wishes to appear as hippie brother rather than dying man on a cross ("you know, like guy next to you at a Phish concert")

- He is funny as all heck and amazingly detached from "that thing that happened back there"

- He never takes himself too seriously, so we should all just relax a bit and let ego move aside

- Women are the teachers of faith... our connection to God/Goddess/Source

- There is no creation without the work of the Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine, "without life form is empty."  It is up to man to create form and forge reality and it is the gift of the women to breathe life into it to allow it a place on this earth.

- Jesus was a shaman!  he was healer and worked with the invisible energies to benefit his community -- yup, I still want to make it a bumper sticker

- Death was meant to be a most joyous act, a celebratory return to God not one filled with fear and anxiety

- Those sincere souls wishing to find him should practice cultivating a personal relationship with him through meditation, prayer and even channeling, rather than seeking it in the Bible or church

I know him as Brother and am grateful for those moments he does gift me with.  He appears often for clients in session and I try my best to represent him well.  I love him like I do no other and feel lifted by him in every waking moment-- this is done by my choosing, and his grace, without the need for any church, book, or intermediary.

How does your relationship with Jesus unfold?

Here's one song I can always feel him in...

Psychic Myth Bustin'

"How can you do psychic work in Denver full time if no one believes in what you do?"  I had a new friend recently ask me this and as I tried to compose myself and answer diplomatically, all I could think was geesh, this is exactly the struggle I face in legitimizing my business.

"From one holy shit moment to the next," I answered.  It's often those who don't believe in my work at all that gain the most.  I rely on touching people's hearts in the most profound of ways and hope they pass my name along.  I know my ethics, my authenticity and my sincerity, so the real trick is just finding others who value what I do.

So for the record, let's clear up some of the crazy schiet y'all think of when you think of a psychic:

~ we wear turbans and use a crystal ball
~ we're just making stuff up
~ we sleep with cats
~ we're weird, crazy or both
~ we know the future
~ we're out to curse, beguile or scam you

Now some may be all or part of these things, I however, and most of my close trusted circle of psychic allies, are none of these.... ok, maybe the cat part but that's their story to tell!

I am a sassy and spunky, non turban wearing psychic.  I don't love the word psychic but get that it's a good catch all to explain what the fudge I do!  I feel myself to be a force of positive change, inspiration and empowerment.  I do this using my enhanced intuitive abilities and continually receiving training so I may better be in service.  I am a healer and hope to help my community in times of need.  AND I try to do this with as little ego as possible.

I'm also a Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter, tax payer, business woman, voracious reader, sometimes inspired chef, and avid plant lover.  The more I normalize my work and allow people to know me before they know what I do, the more they may safely relax into the world I get to walk.

To be able to deliver messages from the other side that heal decade old wounds, to clear energies that block someone from fulfilling their dreams, and to help empower someone with the truth of an awful relationship so (s)he can move on for good-- that is the gift of the psychic.  I feel so very blessed and am in constant awe of the beauty I get to see through your eyes.

If you're in need of the fortune telling schiester... there are those out there who will gladly fulfill your expectations and empty your pockets while incense and candles flicker in the background.  But leave your conceptions at the door and step on into a world of much more inspired and practical, ethical psychics.  You'll be so glad you did... and if you aren't, tell me so!  Go ahead, I dare ya :-)

Looking for a psychic reading in Denver or long distance via Skype? I just may be your gal!

Discovering Our Soul Mission

My strongest gift is in helping others re-member not only their brilliance and Divinity but also restoring their Soul Mission.
Each of us enters this life with a unique and specific calling. Often, we are most clearly in touch with this in our childhood. As we grow up and try increasingly harder to do what others expect of us, we lose touch with this soul calling (our own life purpose), and some of us forget it completely. This loss is epic not only to the individual but also to the universe.

Our Soul Mission serves not only our highest soul aspects, our very Divinity, but is also a sacred contract we agreed to manifest and bring to this world. Just as we need food and air to survive, our soul needs to fulfill this agreement to evolve! Imagine if Gandhi had instead decided to be an accountant …The world would have been bereft without his universal vision of peace and love. The world not only asks of us to do our best but EXPECTS and is counting on us to fulfill our commitment --our Soul Mission-- in order for mankind, the Earth, and the Universe to continue evolving.

You are Divine and the world needs you to live your Highest calling!

We all have something majestic to offer our world. At this most unique time in human history approaching the energetic shift of 2012, we are all needed to do our part. The Universe was designed to have all people from all cultures live and thrive with joy and ease, and once you are back in alignment with this truth, everything falls into place.

Your Soul Mission is not only the abilities which come easiest to you but also the skills and talents which bring you the greatest joy (in other words, your passion). By tapping into your innate skills and vitality (your Divine Essence), you are able to give Mother Earth and all Her people exactly what you agreed to manifest, and in turn, living your life most fulfilled and appreciative. This is exactly what is meant by the phrase: “Live your passion and the money will follow!” Imagine re-discovering your heart's passion and integrating it with your community in a manner that's reciprocally sustaining ...The original Heaven on Earth: The way the world was intended!

Through the Akashic Records and connecting with your Spirit Guides and Angelic Counsel, I am able to help you re-member your Soul Mission. Having your life purpose re-awakened is both a gift and a commitment. The return is very much a spiritual home-coming helping you feel more fulfilled and complete in your everyday life. Every fiber of your being (body, mind, heart & soul!) will resonate with harmonic bliss. Once your sacred path is identified, there will be no questioning this is exactly what you're supposed to be doing in this lifetime! It's that “eureka” moment when the lightbulb goes on and everything clicks perfectly. You KNOW it in every cell and your whole being feels lighter because it's resonating as the next step in your process.

Re-aligning with your Divine purpose is easier than one would think, because every aspect of your life was specially designed to help you achieve this Mission! Once re-aligned, you will discover things in your life happen magically and effortlessly.  With this in mind, let's consider the purpose of “road blocks” which everyone encounters throughout their day....

Blocks often appear as our greatest teachers showing up to remind us how to find ourselves again. By continually facing the same challenges, great lessons are offered to us. Andye is able to help you get the gift from these road blocks so you can heal yourself emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Not only am I able to help you re-member your Mission but I work with your Angelic Counsel to provide concrete guidance and next steps empowering you to embrace your Soul Mission. Rituals, exercises, and spiritual assignments are often given that allow you to begin changing your life.

I am not a healer believing instead everyone is Divine with the innate ability, desire and power to heal themselves. Using intuitive guidance, shamanic insights, and the divine expressions of Color I am able to help bring forth your highest self. My mission is to inspire and empower the world to fulfill its limitless potential. Just as you made a sacred contract to do your part, I too am doing mine. Only by helping people (re)awaken am I able to fulfill my destiny.

Re-align yourself back with your Soul Mission and the Universe will shine brighter as YOU are living your life purpose.

To be or not to be ...Psychic

Hello lovies! I loved this post about to be or not to be a psychic  so much that I moved it to my website. Check it out over there!
