You may know them as ghosts, spirits, energy, dis-incarnates, or even entities, but the truth is:  Ghosts are people too ... just without their physical body!  Like us, they have a purpose to fulfill and a cycle to complete.  Being bound to the earth, they are unable to move forward to their Spirit home.  In the process, and their confusion, they can cause us to feel frightened, anxious, and confused ourselves.  Just as we people all need help from time to time, they too are in need of compassionate and loving assistance. 

Having a ghost in your home can be disruptive, aggravating, and even at times scary.  In all honesty, they'd probably rather be somewhere else getting on with their "life," and are usually acting up to get noticed!  They may be attached to your home, to your land, or even to a family member.  While TYPICALLY there is little to fear, we know how unnerving living with this situation can be to your family and your sanity.

I see this role largely as compassionate clearing.  We help the energy move to where they belong and clear from the families and home any residue from the encounter.  Ghosts are not bad, rather need to be reunited with the light as all beings of God do.    



As a child, Andye was frequently visited by ghosts.  Rarely frightened yet always surprised, Andye learned early on ways to help these souls get to the Other Side.  Psychopomp (literally translated as "soul conductor") is the ancient name for the individuals who undertake this important and sacred work.  This is not only a calling for Andye but a true passion.  Healing both the families and the trapped souls (the ghosts) is a special role indeed... and one Andye fulfills with great love and compassion.

You Must Believe to Walk on Fire

My mama is walking on fire this weekend.  The heart-work of Tony Robbins challenges people to overcome the chattering fears of the mind and allow their sheer belief in themselves to accomplish the impossible.

I'm proud of her beyond measure and it got me thinking... healing work is no different.  If you believe, the healing is not only aided but is triumphant.  The more you can put into the session, the more resolute and lasting the results.    This is your work, after all and we (like Tony Robbins) just help you kick fear in the face!  

Clients sometimes come in skeptical of the work we perform in the shamanic and energy healing traditions. And if there is doubt, the effectiveness is fragmented at best.

Maybe these limiting thoughts serve you... and it is in this scary truth that much healing occurs.  Why is it that you THINK you deserve less than glorious outcomes?  Why is a life of dissatisfaction feel safer than making changes that might bring you joy?

We must move beyond the brain at times to release and find our truth.  This is the only secret power healers possess... we have a toolbox that looks beyond the mental and societal constructs.

We want your healing to be powerful beyond measure.  We will champion you to release and purge whatever thoughts, ideas and beliefs are keeping you stuck.  The methods we use are time tested thru every culture in the world and existed far before pharmacology came into being.  We don't use hocus pocus, we use healing techniques passed down through the generations that have been effective and beneficial in providing relief.

Be your own damn Master

I've always been leery of gurus. Though I recognize this is an ancient system of conveying teachings, the idea creeps me out a bit. I don't want to be anyone's teacher. I want to be a guide, walking hand in hand for whatever adventures spirit has in store!

My own quest for a teacher left me confused and dis-empowered…

For the first part of my psychic career, I held myself back from the many inspirations, thoughts and teachings I was receiving from Spirit. It was in my first round of shamanic training that the teacher stressed we needed a mentor in the physical world, someone to guide and protect us, before any deep spiritual work could be undertaken. I was receiving visions and messages on a near daily basis but felt like I should ignore them. In fact, the first time I spontaneously did mediumship (hearing messages from a passed loved one), I went to this trusted shaman and was instructed stop what I was doing until a teacher came along.

I prayed I would find my teacher, believing I was unable to share the breadth of my gifts with the world until one did. I was left confused and felt compelled to dismiss the teachings my angels and guides were trying to give me. Everyone held this man in high regard so I trusted his input. To this day a teacher (in this world) has yet to appear….

When I met Ann Drucker, a friend and beloved guide in Boulder, she encouraged me instead to just "try and see what happened" if I followed the messages. This lil nudge of encouragement, yea permission, from someone I respected was all I needed. I began trying out, listening to and trusting the messages and I haven't looked back!




Over the years, I've been told in nearly every psychic and astrological reading I’ve received that my life path is to be a teacher. I recoiled at the idea given my own dismissive experiences with teachers and guru types. However in 2012, my Guides suggested I be a “mentor!” This word shifted the energy from “guru” to “equal,” and I was in.

The Soul Mastery Mentoring Program allows me to share and cheer on others as they learn to use their gifts!

Here's what I've observed with teachers and some things to be watchful of as you choose your path...

• A mentor can walk and guide but does not hold herself higher than the mentoree. 

• When working in the spiritual and metaphysical realms, its difficult sometimes to find teachers who both teach and practice humility. The ego is so very ready to jump in and take credit. Find the one who recognizes the work is what is special and not the teacher. 

• Many teachers forget to teach! They may hold themselves in a position of power and believe they are giving the healing or responsible for the magic. Teachers get burned out this way and sometimes must step back from the work because they are doing rather than genuinely teaching their students. Teaching is a two way street and the work is ever expanding-- We learn from and teach to all the time. No one is ever a master and incapable of learning more! 

• The more we teach, the more we learn. Share everything and encourage others to do the same. Anytime you see a trademarked procedure or copyright, ask yourself if this is a genuine quest to protect the teaching (some things are not for the novice and need be protected in a way) or if its done from ego to credit the teacher and receive material gain. 

• It's easy when you experience something that feels magical, to attribute it to the teacher. This is never the case, it is always because of God/Spirit/Source and YOU. Anytime one tries to take credit, we must stop and acknowledge that we are simply a vehicle for the work or teaching. 

• Often when a teacher encounters a student with gifts greater than their own, they are unable to champion and encourage without envious inklings rising up in themselves. Look instead for the teacher who is in awe of your magnificence and only wishes to help it blossom in you.
• When you work with people who are energetically open and vulnerable, it is paramount that ethics and boundaries are clearly respected. If anything makes you uncomfortable, speak your truth and a true teacher will hear honor and shift with you.

• Be ok with walking away. We outgrow people and we outgrow teachers, this is a sign of outer own development and should be celebrated.

Heart vs Brain... the ensuing battleground

As a shaman, I often am confronted with the heart vs mind debate and find it's in the head where most people get stuck.  To say "shake it off" is really a challenge for some but, it is the key to moving forward and embracing greater change.  The crucial piece in getting out of stuck and bringing joy back into your world is living from the heart.

To get out of the head and into the heart can be for some the longest journey.  But if we can reassign our gorgeous brain a better purpose, we can free ourselves from the confines it ultimately creates.  

The ground rules:

Our brains are powerful machines intended to guide and automate functions of the physical body.  The brain keeps our hearts beating, keeps our eyes blinking and tells our body how to break down food and turn it into energy.



Our hearts are the true master of our being.  The heart shows us what is in our highest truth, what is in our best interests and how we should behave in the world in service to ourselves and God.


The new energies on the planet are forcing our hearts to be the guiding force.  In heart there is truth, passion, joy and emotion.  In our head fear, thoughts, sickness and limitation exist.  Outside of the dictates of our brains, no fear exists.  Period.  

Recently while working with a client, the Ascended Master Thoth came in teaching us that the brain is really nothing more than the sail of the ship.  It can catch air and direct, but it alone will only lead the ship astray.  It is the captain, the heart, that can safely get the ship and its crew to the right destination.

Our hearts, emotions, and feelings must now direct us.  Chills up your spine and  zaps of energy are atuning us with heart energy.  These physical sensations is our heart communicating with us!   Our heart can send messages of change and healing to our brain and it is time we let it!


TRY THIS:

Rather than trust what your brain says... those lil nagging voices that let you feel small... instead step into your heart and ask if this is your truth?  Are you really not good enough?  Are you crazy? Are they all gonna laugh at you?  Chances are not. But the brain, in it's quest to keep you safe, physically viable and alive, doesn't like trying new things, embracing new concepts or letting go of what keeps it feeling safe and comfy.  When we ponder new endeavors  any triggers we have may flood to the surface, in an effort to keep us safe.  These triggers are often felt as fear... and darlin brilliant one, fear is often just a thought.

Conquer those demon thoughts and allow your heart to step in to allow greater happiness, joy and experiences.  In your heart is your truth and it shall set you free!

Woo Woo Word of the Moment ::: Akashic Records

I love de-mystifying the Spiritual Worlds, so you can step into these yummy waters with ease!

The Akasha is the matter of the universe, the basic fiber that makes up all of the life around us.

The Akashic Record is the imprint, the memories of the matter. Every person, place, event and even business has a unique Akashic Record.

They are essentially the Contract --the Agreement-- between You and God/Goddess/Source.   Every action, every love, every job, everything you need to karmically balance is kept in your Record. Past lives and future lives can be discovered there too.  It is the very checklist you must accomplish in this life.

In your Akashic Records, we can see your highest truth, your Divine essence.  If you can touch who you were meant to be, you can so much easier step into that truth.  It not only helps you know who you were meant to be, but can also help explain why you must do the things you do.  This perspective can be invaluable as we all make our way through the waters of the mundane.

These Records are yours to access, review and understand. A guided process with psychics & healers  initiated in the Akashic Records can be beneficial to help re-focus and inspire you on your Path. However, we always have ways you can touch this for yourself... A few great books by Linda Howe are now making these sacred tomes available for the asking.  I do enjoy her work and find value in what they share.  Is it as clear as a reading?  Probably not... but it's a great place for personal empowerment!

I do encourage you to at least once in this life, to visit your Akashic Records.  For me, it is the only way to do a reading.  It is the chalice from which the best inspiration can be found.  To not review your Records seems fool hardy, why would you not want to?!?

Confronting the Quiet

NEVER ALONE -- This phrase bounced through my head for years.  Each time my beloved would bellow his frustrations with his own intuitive ability to “hear” his angels and guides:  “I feel like they’ve abandoned me," he would furl with utter dismay.  I would be bombarded with Never Alone, Never Alone, Never Alone.  Like a lonely satellite orbiting without destination, this psychic barrage would flood me until I shared the message.

As one who hears and feels it all – Spirits, Ascended Masters, Angels, ghosts, and every other brand of disembodied energy—I am puzzled by the feeling of being alone.  After all we are never truly alone.  If we know God, if we know Angels, if we can feel the wind upon our face or the heat of the sun upon our skin… we are never alone.

Yet many who suffer, truly do feel uncomfortable in their own quiet.  While meditation works wonders for some people, for me it never really let me sink into my own velvety depths.  Cultivating quiet is a blissful and spacious exercise but for me, it just felt like unproductive sitting.

I instead like to be messy.  Dive into those murky waters and muck around in my own psyche.  Unfurl all matters of thoughts, randomness, shame, grief and discomfort til I pop back up clean and unscathed.  This may be Cancerian nature but, diving right the heck in always feels so much better than passive “sit and watch your thoughts float away.”  I dig me some drama, baby!

Once you can visit these waters, seeing your own Shadow and telling him, “Let’s rumble,” the loneliness dissipates.

In all healing there are 2 components – releasing & purging stuck or non-productive energies AND bringing in something new, be it inspiration, clear guidance, or even reclaimed aspects of you.

Healing can be messy, little darling, but once we can go there, clarity, peace and yes --even relief -- come bounding in.  If loneliness is your trigger, I invite you to touch your darkest corners, bring it light and allow the healing to begin.   When we can get past feeling alone, we can remember we are rather AL(L)ONE.   

...as I'm getting ready to post, 3 Libras (bellowing the lyric "you don't see me") came on Pandora... even the video shows delving into those murky depths.... how's that for cosmic timing?

the New Earth is here... seeing proof in every corner

If you think the world isn’t changing, perhaps we can open your perspective a wee wider.  Don't roll your eyes quite yet, this is not an exercise in gratitude (though it never hurts) this is hard, cold proof of the dawning of a new world.

My office is right next door to a 7-11 – remember those?  Crummy, grumpy stations of every sundry under the sun.  I went in with low expectations, in need of an afternoon refreshment to quench my thirst.    Heck who gets excited over a convenience store?

Imagine my surprise when at the check out, the cashier asked me if I had seen the coupon for my oj.  Why no… and he proceeds to direct me precisely to it.  A lovely and random encounter to be sure.

On my next visit, I inquire about the dark roast coffee… “Shall I brew you some?” comes the reply.  Not necessary and not wanting to cause extra work, I get my regular strength and bring it to the counter.  The gal (calling me hon all the while) hands me the store phone number and encourages me to call in advance next time and they’ll have dark ready for me.

In what bizarrely wonderful pocket of reality have I landed?

In my  further ventures, I have been offered everything from a freshly made pizza to a custom ordered taquito.   “Did you see the taco sauce for that mini taco?  It’s really good, “ the male clerk reminds me. 

It’s easy since Dec 21^st to think that nothing has changed.  No end of the world kaboom, no fall of the financial markets, no e.t.'s descending from above.  But this lil beacon of goodness is my resounding proof that our world is changing.  And baby, we can get used to it.  The New Earth is here!

The culture of this paradise is nothing less than a miracle to me.  Is it the store manager I wonder, or a new corporate hometown feel?  It matters not, cuz I love it! (And by the by…  I’m not the only one… friends have slipped in and out with the same expansive reception.)

 

Add to this -- Every neighbor, this holiday season, brought my family a plate of delectable goodies– the same neighbors we’ve had for 3 years who never before have done such a thing. 

Twice last year when Netflix encountered outages on my Roku, they sent an apology along with a month’s credit.  And, when my hubby called Sprint to air a complaint, they offered us at $75 credit as a thanks for our continued business. 

So look around you and find the unexpected ways you can see this world is getting easier to live in.  I don’t think you’ll find it too hard.  But beloved, you do have to look, and the world will shower you with little gifts of bliss.  Follow those nuggets and you will discover a world changing around you. 

ChemTrails ... to be or not to be AFRAID

The first time I heard of chemtrails I was in disbelief. Could our government be creating and releasing toxins through our skies... intentionally sterilizing and sickening us with each fly by?  

Many of my trusted resources swayed me to be believe this was the case. Heck, do a Google search and you'll find many passionate educated authorities screaming to "beware the chemtrails."

Yet... now I find myself incredulous again. While our powers that be are certainly not incapable of this act, my Guides now assure me this conspiracy is a strong push of misinformation. 

Here in Colorado, we have a birds eye view of government flight activity. On any given day you can see myriad streaks in the sky from nearby air force bases and the academy.  As I peered heaven ward today, I saw these zippy patterns and felt playful, inspired even by the lucky souls flying these crafts with apparent glee and enthusiasm.  These plumes felt like nothing more than after effects of the carefree careen of the wheel to new cadets and seasoned pilots. With new aircraft technology, isn't it also possible new jet fuel burn off is also possible?  After all, if birds were to release streams in flight, would we see anything different?   

So then, says my pea brain, why would they propagate this tale?  It seems so clear now, after years of being frustrated and distrusting by the existence of these, I am now freed with the crystal clear insight that they want us to fear our own skies. 

If every time I gaze into the skies it is with a spirit of agitation, fear and general disease, they have succeeded in destroying something so fundamentally human...  The joy of cloud gazing and dreaming in childlike wonder. If everytime I start to dream, I contract into fear, they have won.  And this simply shan't be on my watch.  

So gaze toward the heavens and shout a triumphant "Suck It" to the trails.  If anything is falling from here, it is simply the malaise of a government gone awry. 

Woo Woo Word of the Moment :: Medium

A medium is a communicator between worlds --they mediate between the physical world and the spiritual world. Most often, mediums can talk to those who have crossed over (yes, we can smell, hear, and "see dead people"). In many instances, we can often share messages from your Angels, Spirit Guides, and other higher dimensional beings. We act in a capacity delivering messages and assisting in communications-- we are the middle women & men to deliver the messages only ...not to interpret them.


Mediums exist in nearly every culture. Some allow the energies to use their bodies to share messages --called channeling-- while others (myself included) agree just to receive said messages and delivery them, we while maintain control of our bodies.  The Spiritualist movement brought mediumship to the forefront of American consciousness in the late Victorian era.  Even the well known Harry Houdini and Mary Todd Lincoln participated in their day. 



Séances are formal gatherings where mediums share these messages and bring closure and connections from loved ones who have crossed over.   My own séances (I call them "Peeking Through the Veil") do not reflect traditional practices of sitting around in a circle holding hands looking into a crystal ball, but they do give a forum for group participation in sharing messages from the Other Side of the Veil. 

Mediumship, in all forms, brings many miracles. Watch the Afterlife Investigations: The Scole Experiments to learn more about how modern day mediums practice their gifts.  But know...  even some of that intense contact with the Other Side, while incredibly cool, still keeps me awestruck.

Healing :: ON the table or AT the table

I consider myself primarily an energetic healer, a shaman, and secondly a psychic. I believe every session, be it a reading or a healing, will leave you feeling better. So why book a healing when I'm already sharing this with you during readings?



I always will do what I can to remove blocks, limiting beliefs, old fears and anything else that might be hindering you from being the rock star you contracted to be. While At the Table receiving a reading, I will brush away and clear from your energetic field these things. The psychic readings tend to go a bit more psychological as we seek to understand, shift and heal the way you see yourself and your understanding of the world. Spirit Guides and Angels will share with me messages to ensure you receive the guidance and love you most need to heal thyself.


The shamanic healing work....ahhhhh! This is where I get to share with you the very best of the best.  On the Table is where the true miracles occur! Your Angels actually assist me in permanently resolving issues that may have irritated, blocked or stumped you your whole life. It is in the healing where we suss out and fix the root cause of the fears, beliefs, and pains. I use a number of techniques and tools to assist in your healing but most importantly, it is the directives of your own Guides and Angels that show me how to best serve you.

A healing session is both intuitive and energetic. We chat for a bit, maybe read some cards, then create your healing plan. You lie fully clothed on the table, snug and comfy, while I use prayers, oils, sounds and crystals to make magic. Many may fall asleep while others are curious and want a verbal play by play. This is your session and never have I witnessed the same miracles twice! At least once a day I hear "I feel lighter" and take this as a great validation that the work performed was effective.

I take my role with great sincerity and feel myself in service to your soul, your very being, always. If you are curious, it may just be your Angels giving you a nudge in the right direction.

Woo Woo Word of the Moment :: Cellular Healing

Ok, I don't know if this is a real word of the moment, but it will let me chat about our 12 strands of DNA, junk DNA, and cellular upgrades in any case!

Originally on this planet (think days of Atlantis and prior), we had 12 strands of DNA... We now have only two. This explains why even modern science says we only use a portion of our brain's actual capacity and ability. With just one-sixth of our original DNA, we are literally incapable of using our full potential until these strands are re-activated.

The so-called junk DNA is actually ancient potent cells that when put back together the right way (reactivated) can help us reclaim our fullest capacity of humanness.

  

Regardless of how far down this rabbit hole you choose to go, cellular healing helps us feel infinitely better. We are then able to be both fully functioning & fully conscious Beings: Wholey physical and spiritual, wholey thoughtful and compassionate, wholey kind and loving, and ever the best of human attributes we can be... It also helps us reclaim our psychic potential... But all that when YOU are ready!

Woo Woo Word of the Moment :: Ascension

I'm always hopeful I can find ways to bridge my world with that of the "everyone"... So here's the first of a new series attempting to explain what these kooky New Age words mean in easy to digest language.





Ascension is essentially the graduation of humanity. We have been glorified apes living, consuming and destroying the planet.... I say this with no political agenda or irksome fist throwin' simply stating bare bones... Our Ascension grants us a spiritual aspect that is now equal to that of our physical nature.

Some may say the Ascension allows us to leave Earth and explore galaxies beyond our own. My own belief is that Ascension puts us back on equal footing with the Ascended Masters (like Jesus, Buddha, Mother Mary) and our Angels. We become better than human by embracing our inherent spiritual nature and thereby evolving or graduating from our ape-ness.

Walking the Razor's Edge

I've never fancied myself creative.  In high school I was a theater kid-- go figure, with my drama, it's shocking, I know!-- surrounded by friends who had creative impulses dripping from every pore.  I was a dreamer unable to put into 3d my grandiose ideas, visions and musings.  Alas, I felt muse-less and while far from uninspired, certainly a artistic stump.

When I was invited to participate in RAW Denver, I was given an opportunity to not only share my work with many, but also to see myself in a new way... as an artist!

Artists must walk the razors edge... unaffected by observations and criticism to deliver to the world something fearless and bold, something that moves people to feel something bigger than themselves.  The true artist moves into a place of unnamed creation to share a unique self expression birthed from the inner worlds allowing the observer to find within themselves something before unnoticed.  A healing can be given in the most pure of moments that wasn't even being sought.

Well heck, sign me up baby because this is precisely what I do each and every day.  Walking the razors edge, unable to be planned or edited, I move into a space of pure communication with Spirit to bring into this world the healing you most need.  Holy cow, I guess I am an artist.  I'll work on healing my inner 12 year old now and share with you something we can both be very proud of!

 

My love of a man named Jesus

How can one talk about Jesus without: 

A.) sounding like a fanatic or 

B.) pushing a religious agenda?

This is what I have been grappling with as my love, yes LOVE, for Jesus comes in stronger and stronger.  

So let me clear the air-- I was raised largely without religion, without a concept of dogma and church.  We were raised in a loving home with a family who allowed us to pursue "religion" on our own terms.  This seeming lack was a beautiful gift allowing my relationship to God and my innate curiosity to lead to me to MY path, not one that was prescribed nor one I was chastised for not keeping.  

I explored Buddhism, Christianity, and Hinduism with equal zeal.  Picking and choosing the aspects that made the most sense to me.  I was as comfortable in a church as I was playing on the 2 acres of Louisiana swamp we called home-- feeling God in both locations equally!  What I found was in nature, I could connect, feel and ponder without anyone I telling me I was wrong.

After a couple of years in a Baptist school in Baton Rouge and being punished (detention, scolding and calls home to parents) for not believing what I was told to believe, I found "religion" to be a degradation of what I felt in my own heart.  I turned from organized religion and flitted my way into my own brand of spirituality.

So when Jesus came to me in 2005, asking that we have a conversation, I told him I wasn't one of "His" and he should look elsewhere.  At that point in my burgeoning psychic career, I was receiving guidance from Angels, my own Spirit Guides and Teachers I wasn't savvy yet enough to identify who was who.  Yet when Mary Magdalene showed up, bringing Jesus with her, it was my first experience working with Ascended Masters -- beneficent beings who are master teachers dedicated to enlightening humanity.  

I told them both in fact to go away... sure that a heathen child such as myself couldn't possibly be who they were looking for.   They both persisted, Mary providing information that she still insists will be a book and Jesus with a loving and gentle presence I have come to rely on. 

Last year, my work with Him began to take on more of a mentorship as he began teaching me some of the more estoeric teachings of the Essene tradition.  I can recall past lives I worked with him closely and find his guidance to be of the utmost benefit in my spiritual path.  Going through grief of my own, I relied heavily on him... to the point of near co-dependence!  Ha!  In calling to him to soothe my grief, and protect my heart, I lost my own inner strength... I became dependent and needy.  

I again asked him to step back, which he did with great respect, allowing me to return in my own time.  The year since has been one of warrior like insights and healing work-- powerful, majestic and sword yielding as I overcame the grief of losing my Gram & my child within a month.  

As a gentle wind, he appeared this spring, asking if our work could resume.  He expressed his pride in my reclamation of my inner strength and suggested that he may simply augment rather than replace it.  Wow-- this I was not prepared for!  What Divine Love, patience, and grace he allowed me to find on my own as he gently allowed my journey to return to him.  

It was then that I would hear myself exclaiming to clients: "Yes, but do you really know the real Jesus?!?" How could I temper my overjoyed experience with him without the gush of dogma rushing in?  It is still a question I try and balance but I know him to be kind, generous, ever loving and so very wise.  

Here's a bit of what he's taught me:

- He wishes to appear as hippie brother rather than dying man on a cross ("you know, like guy next to you at a Phish concert")

- He is funny as all heck and amazingly detached from "that thing that happened back there"

- He never takes himself too seriously, so we should all just relax a bit and let ego move aside

- Women are the teachers of faith... our connection to God/Goddess/Source

- There is no creation without the work of the Sacred Masculine and Divine Feminine, "without life form is empty."  It is up to man to create form and forge reality and it is the gift of the women to breathe life into it to allow it a place on this earth.

- Jesus was a shaman!  he was healer and worked with the invisible energies to benefit his community -- yup, I still want to make it a bumper sticker

- Death was meant to be a most joyous act, a celebratory return to God not one filled with fear and anxiety

- Those sincere souls wishing to find him should practice cultivating a personal relationship with him through meditation, prayer and even channeling, rather than seeking it in the Bible or church

I know him as Brother and am grateful for those moments he does gift me with.  He appears often for clients in session and I try my best to represent him well.  I love him like I do no other and feel lifted by him in every waking moment-- this is done by my choosing, and his grace, without the need for any church, book, or intermediary.
