Commitment of Service

I give all of myself to you in session.  I cry with you, laugh with you, heal with you, love you!  Is a privilege and a gift to share in this intimate space.   To share in such profoundly personal spaces is precious and it's an honor I hold very sincerely in highest integrity.

To see your soul -- your Divine Self-- if even for a moment, is no casual encounter.  I do not desire to tell you what to do, nor how to do, simply to reflect back to you the very best of yourself and to inspire the courage within you to Be-Come it!  I don't believe in fortune telling, I only believe in YOU!

Those who find me, are guided to me, and entrust me to see them in these moments, I receive as a blessing from God.  A blessing that I can love, hold and honor you, and that the work we do here helps you deeply.  I am daily humbled by what I see in you and, with great gratitude, I'm allowed by Spirit to do it another day.

I have clear ceremony in place which allows me to give all of myself to you while in session and then I cut cords after.  I work in the Light and Serve the Light.  I am clear in my ethics and hyper vigilant in my energetic boundaries.  This allows me to be in highest service and ensure you can get from me what you need ... if I am the one to whom you've been lead.

I am not here to carry, coddle or wallow with you.  It is in this way that I am able to be and do more of what you need.  Because I am clear in how much I can do for you... and what you must do for yourself.

Many people are able to get what they need in one session.  Those who return however share a different space in my heart.  I live with you, love with you, hold and cherish you.  I adore these Souls whom I am honored to work with throughout your journey.

I am also protective of who does make it into my heart.  I have limitless love, compassion and respect for those who can truly dig in, stand in their truth and do their work.  Continued work together is a privilege earned, not simply bought.  It is these beloveds who inspire my best, and together our work changes the world.

When one person can stand in their light, the world benefits.  When we all can to do this, the world CHANGES!

Truth is Subjective ... as our Awareness Expands

As healers we are always in a process of renewal, of research, and of growth.  I am dubious of any healer or teacher whose methods remain fixed.  It is that moment, Ego takes over and the healer is more concerned about how the changes may impact his/her legacy more than honoring Truth.

I love my own growth and frequently find ideas I once held dear, do indeed shift over time.  I'm ok being wrong and recognize what I knew to be "true" 2 years or even 2 weeks ago may change.

Take the theories of Rudolf Steiner, for example.  Plenty of people have used his ideas and created schools, religions, and even businesses around them.  Rudolf channeled in for me once during a session.  He was frustrated that his teachings were being taken so literally... he equated them to being trapped in amber and instead insisted ideas (and even manifestos!) must grow and adapt to current times.

I inquired with Spirit on this changing Truth and was heartened to be reassured.

For me it can feel a little insincere or unprofessional even (silly brain) that what I thought I knew is now no more!

Why should we feel embarrassed to out grow a practice or school of though that no longer supports us?  Because it may appear foolish or contrary to what we previously asserted?

Truth simply expands as we do our work.  Consciousnesses gets bigger the more we release the filters and parameters of what we are taught and even what we believe.

If we can be ok being in a constant state of expansion and growth, we must also be ok being "wrong" in what we once held true.  This freedom --this momentum-- is a gift, never a burden.

To be in our authenticity, unburdened by Ego, means that we can acknowledge being wrong and let go of a previously held truth.  It is when we cling to a truth, contort and twist it to fit into our changing reality, that we can become aware of something insincere.

The universe is in motion, so too must we be, in order to continue on our trajectory of conscious awareness.

Woo Woo Word of the Moment :: Séance

I've shyed away from this word for a long time, but ultimately, mama's ready to reclaim it!

In the traditional sense, a séance is a gathering where the living (that's us) can talk, connect and be in commune with those on the other side.  It is an opportunity for healing and connection to bring peace and sometimes awe to those in attendance.

The séance got a bad wrap in the early part of this century.  When spiritualists reigned, so too were there opportunities for less than integrious individuals to take advantage. It's not my belief nor experience that most psychics are insincere, rather, all work at differing levels of integrity, and that's why I stress ethics in my community so strongly.

Séances are not simply mediums connecting and sharing messages, I have most often experienced them as evenings of intense connections and teachings.  All who gather in the spirit of curiosity and sincerity are gifted with something truly remarkable.  From weird noises to unexplained lights, all things are possible!

While we do open doorways and peek through the veil, séances are a safe step in spiritual waters.  I tend to experience them less as an occult and more in the realm of healing when properly conducted.  Setting safe space and having clear boundaries are essential pieces to hosting a gathering such as this.  We close doors after us, we release Spirits back to God/Goddess/Source and we say prayers blessing everyone in the highest divine light.  This is a boon for our communities much more so than an entertaining diversion.

If you wanna play deeper:

- the Scole Experiement is an excellent resource for those seeking to explore life after death.  I've found them to be not only fascinating but in great integrity and service as well!

- I host an annual séance in the Denver area each year in this spirit of gathering and community healing.   Check it out and join us if you can!

Getting the Most from a Psychic Fair

Psychic fairs can be fun and exciting!  In fact I've met some inspiring people and received life enhancing messages this way.  But, it can also be a energetic overload...  I'm grateful to have been on both sides of the table and always try to empower people with the information that allows the experience to be as magical as it can be.

Just as all salesmen aren't in integrity, not all psychics are either.  We are gifted with extra sensory awareness and while that should come with a code of ethics, it does not.    Each psychic finds his or her own way and develops the toolset and techniques that serve them best in this world.  You likely screen and filter healthcare providers and so too must you use discretion in choosing a psychic.  The fairs don't always allow you the time to use this process.

We all get nervous and excited with so much energy flying around.  When I get readings in this environment I still get the jitters...  What I've learned is to not take it all in as my truth. If I do believe the insight they share, especially those messages which might cause me to feel badly about myself, I must evaluate whether the information was true for me.  When it is, rock the heck on and our lives can be enhanced by such loving and accurate wisdom.  When we later discover said nuggets to be untrue,  I have to work doubly hard to remove release and purge this information from mind and body.  We are open and vulnerable lil beings, and like water must be clean.   Yech!

I'm open and want to believe that everyone works in my same vein of ethics.  It's sadly not true, so I've instead  learned to receive with gratitude and later review the messages.  Those that feel right and beneficial (if even unpleasant or hard to swallow) I allow myself to incorporate and work with.

In these busy hectic places, psychics are salesmen trying to recoup their investment and build their business.  Being aware and savvy is always a good start.  Here's a few more tips....

-breathe and ground yourself before going to the fair.  Don't be too open but do be curious and in a space of love

- walk the room first. Look for the reader who jumps out and make you feel excited.

- be in your power, exude grace and excitement!   Desperation energy is easily felt and the less reputable healers may take advantage of your vulnerability and convince you that you need them.  (I've fallen into this trap and felt like such a sap after... we all want to be seen and feel special, sometimes in these environments this desire isn't working in our favor).

- be in your heart during the reading but put all the messages into a bubble or treasure chest outside of you.

-not all messages are accurate (psychics are people too and after 2 days of 8 hours of readings, they may not be at the top of their game)

- after the event, review the messages and inspiration,  keep what feels right to you and discard the rest

- go through the cards you gathered and see who still jumps out for you.... These would be the people you may want to work with in the future

Psychic Etiquette -- it's time to expect what you deserve.

Too many times I hear of other psychics filling your gorgeous heads with nonsense.  I work hard to be honest and in great integrity, and think it's only fair you too should expect this from us.... always!

Psychic boundaries are essential for both parties.  I don't want to see things I shouldn't, nor do you.  So I set into place impeccable ethical standards around each session.  Being psychic is a job -- albiet one that never feels like work :-) -- and just as you don't work when you're with your family, neither do I.

I'm not "on" all the time.  I have sacred rituals that allow me to be psychic, and once I prepare sacred space is when choose to turn up the volume and listen in to what our Guides have to say.  This protects us both and ensures you get the very best of me when we are in session. Being on, all the time, is physically exhausting and is a violation of your privacy.  I don't play that way, and I hope those you choose to work with don't either.

Many times either due to a bad experience or out of not knowing what to expect, people fear that having a reading will give the psychic or healer access to everything... good and bad alike.  Not the case, my sweet!  I cannot know everything and choose to focus only on those questions and issues that pertain to what YOU are asking of me.  All else is off limits and protects your most intimate details.

If you don't know your healer's "rules" and boundaries, please ask them.  In this way, you hold us all to a higher level of integrity.   You should be able to trust us and expect the very best in your session.  If you don't, never feel bad about stopping the session and stepping away respectfully and lovingly.  Not every match is a perfect one, and you deserve to invest your money and time in a place that resonates with you perfectly!

Psychic Myth Bustin'

"How can you do psychic work in Denver full time if no one believes in what you do?"  I had a new friend recently ask me this and as I tried to compose myself and answer diplomatically, all I could think was geesh, this is exactly the struggle I face in legitimizing my business.

"From one holy shit moment to the next," I answered.  It's often those who don't believe in my work at all that gain the most.  I rely on touching people's hearts in the most profound of ways and hope they pass my name along.  I know my ethics, my authenticity and my sincerity, so the real trick is just finding others who value what I do.

So for the record, let's clear up some of the crazy schiet y'all think of when you think of a psychic:

~ we wear turbans and use a crystal ball
~ we're just making stuff up
~ we sleep with cats
~ we're weird, crazy or both
~ we know the future
~ we're out to curse, beguile or scam you

Now some may be all or part of these things, I however, and most of my close trusted circle of psychic allies, are none of these.... ok, maybe the cat part but that's their story to tell!

I am a sassy and spunky, non turban wearing psychic.  I don't love the word psychic but get that it's a good catch all to explain what the fudge I do!  I feel myself to be a force of positive change, inspiration and empowerment.  I do this using my enhanced intuitive abilities and continually receiving training so I may better be in service.  I am a healer and hope to help my community in times of need.  AND I try to do this with as little ego as possible.

I'm also a Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter, tax payer, business woman, voracious reader, sometimes inspired chef, and avid plant lover.  The more I normalize my work and allow people to know me before they know what I do, the more they may safely relax into the world I get to walk.

To be able to deliver messages from the other side that heal decade old wounds, to clear energies that block someone from fulfilling their dreams, and to help empower someone with the truth of an awful relationship so (s)he can move on for good-- that is the gift of the psychic.  I feel so very blessed and am in constant awe of the beauty I get to see through your eyes.

If you're in need of the fortune telling schiester... there are those out there who will gladly fulfill your expectations and empty your pockets while incense and candles flicker in the background.  But leave your conceptions at the door and step on into a world of much more inspired and practical, ethical psychics.  You'll be so glad you did... and if you aren't, tell me so!  Go ahead, I dare ya :-)

Looking for a psychic reading in Denver or long distance via Skype? I just may be your gal!

Psychic Schmychic .... Client rights during a reading

When I first started doing psychic readings, my mom asked me if I was calling myself Madam Andye and using a crystal ball!

Psychic conjures up all kinds of images of fakes and phonies for me.  It sounds so flipping airy fairy I want to kick myself everytime I present myself as a psychic.  We have so many forces working against us, some days it’s an uphill battle to introduce myself as a legitimate business woman.  Imagine the scoffs I get at professional networking events when I share what I do!

However, the bottom line is if you want to find a psychic – or someone who offers readings --  this is likely the word you will go looking for.  We (my colleagues and myself) have tried to come up with all kinds of terms to dance around psychic : intuitive, spiritual counselor, energetic healer, clairvoyant.  You name it, I’ve tried it—truly, look through a stack of my old business cards and you’ll find any number of these terms proudly printed.

Call me what you will, I keep moving forward bringing the gift of my integrity to the masses.  I have to set an ethical standard and teach clients what a psychic should be offering them.  I work hard to legitimize my services and my industry so the healing we offer can one day be received as readily as chiropractic care (and they too had their own challenges with creating a place in healing!)

Each time I sit down with a new client, I try to explain what they should expect of me or anyone like me.

I have no doubts of my abilities and must move forward fearlessly.  If I wasn’t confident in my authenticity, I would never be able to fulfill the amazing tasks Spirit asks of me.  Call me what you will, I love my work and know I provide profound healings for people.
I am not here to convince or prove to you what I do is real.  Rather I must quickly dismiss from you any resistance so I can be the powerful experience you paid for!  If you have found your way to me, I trust some part of you is ready for the information that is ready to be shared.  Once I share the magic piece that opens your heart, the most powerful transformative nature of a reading can then begin.
